We are seeking an Entrepreneurship Center SBA Program Manager who will be responsible for all duties related to the SBA Intermediary Microloan Program, including managing the loan portfolio, managing all loan reporting requirements, ensuring that pre-and post-loan technical assistance is provided in a timely manner and training and managing a program assistance in functions related to the SBA loan servicing.  

 

Responsibilities include

  • Ensure that the Entrepreneurship Center meets its minimum loan closings each year
  • Ensure that the Entrepreneurship Center has available loan funds to meet the obligations of the contract as well as demand for loans
  • Ensure that all loans are serviced, underwritten, closed and reporting according to SBA Intermediary contract requirements
  • Work closely with regional, state and federal SBA teams to ensure a strong, productive relationship between the E-Center and the SBA. 
  • Perform local travel to local businesses; Work closely with CTIís fiscal department to ensure that all loan payments are made in a timely manner
  • Ensure that all client engagements are documented, and that all SBA data is clean and reported appropriately and in a timely manner
  • Provide highly quality, appropriate pre-loan technical assistance during the application/underwriting process to mitigate loan risk
  • Manage relationship with SBA Funding committee and local banking partners to ensure high quality referrals to the SBA Microloan 
  • Manage loan database to ensure compliance on all reporting, internally and externally.

Qualifications:

  • 3-5 yearsí previous related experiences, specifically in the areas of loan outreach, loan underwriting, loan closing, loan servicing preferred
  • understanding of business financials, loan risk mitigation, ability to provide small business technical assistance specific to loans and financing preferred
  • Associate's Degree required
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficient computer skills to include: Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, Internet, and comfort learning new software and tracking systems.
  •  Desire to work with low-income, culturally diverse, and at-risk families and individuals.
  • Ability to have episodic access to vulnerable populations.
  • Ability to perform local travel.
  • Bilingual skills (English/Khmer, Spanish, or Portuguese) a plus.
  • Must have evidence of full COVID-19 immunization or must request and receive approval for a religious or medical exemption.
