Program Coordinator - CFS

Department: C&FS Education
Location: Lowell, MA

The Program Coordinator will be responsible for the oversight, implementation and support of transportation policies and procedures to ensure the safe and efficient transition of program children to and from classroom/program. This position will also support our Early Learning Program with administrative tasks and Identigo fingerprinting system on an as needed basis.

  1. Conduct accurate name to face attendance and signing in all children coming off or getting on to buses.
  2. Ensure accurate name to face attendance is completed during all transportation transitions by all program staff.
  3. Collection and distribution of bus route sheets and name tags.
  4. Collaborate with Center Directors to ensure adequate staffing of the Children’s Lobby.
  5. Support with Identigo services.
  6. Provide administrative clerical support to programs as need.
  7. Other related duties as assigned.


  • High School Diploma required, Associates Degree preferred.
  • 6 Months- 1 year of experience working with low income individuals or families preferred.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with team members.
  • Bilingual skills (English, Spanish, Khmer, Portuguese) preferred.
  • Good attention to detail
  • Must be able to provide proof of full COVID-19 vaccinations.


  • Early Education and Care (EEC) Teacher Certification
