The Emergency Services Manager of Youth Services is responsible for the oversight of weekday, weekend and overnight operations of the Crisis Transitional Living Program.  The ESM will provide direct support to the Lead Crisis Transitional Housing Case Managers, overnight staff as well as their respective staff.  The Emergency Services Manager will work collaboratively with other team members in leadership to ensure programmatic expectations are met.

  1. Support Lead Crisis Case Managers and staffing in an on-going manner.
  2. Work Collaboratively with other Program Managers as needed to support case management needs.
  3. Collaborate and build partnerships with community stakeholders
  4. Support staff through effective supervision, advocacy, and training
  5. Create and maintain a supportive and inclusive climate within programming
  6. Develop, implement, and monitor strategies used to attain goals and outcomes
  7. Overseeing data collection and reporting requirements of the agency and funders
  8. Implement and ensure compliance with funding and agency standards.
  9. Identify and participate in agency and/or community meetings that will impact programming and services
  10. Follow customer service protocols and maintain consistent and professional relationships with co-workers, vendors, participants, and funders
  11. Identify professional develop opportunities for program staff.
  12. Respond to all correspondence in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Familiarity with HUD/DHCD housing program regulations and eligibility requirements preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage on-going projects concurrently.
  • Collect and analyze financial and other data following guidelines to determine eligibility.
  • Proficiency in math, Microsoft Office or similar technology required
  • Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication skills. Good negotiation and customer service skills.
  • Sensitivity to the needs of diverse, low income populations.  Ability to manage several tasks at once.
  • Sound judgment, demonstrated ability to handle emotionally stressful situations and manage conflict.
  • outstanding communication skills and the ability to work proactively and independently in a diverse environment
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
  • Desire to work with low income, culturally diverse, and at-risk families and individuals.
  • Ability to work effectively with and meet the needs of people from a diverse range of backgrounds, cultures, and identities, including underserved communities and people from the different racial groups, socioeconomic statuses, nationalities, and languages that make up CTIís clientele.
  • Bi-lingual skills (English/Spanish or English/Khmer) preferred.
