We are seeking a Client Assessment Specialist who will be a member of CTI Client Assessment Team, housed in the agency’s Resource Center. Each Client Assessment Team member is responsible for completing client intake, assessment and referrals in the CTI Resource Center. Additionally, Client Assessment Team members are expected to provide exceptional customer service to clients as they are our front line, initial point of contact for the clients that we serve. Responsibilities include completing the Agency Pre-Assessment and appropriate referrals for all Resource Center clients; provide orientation sessions to new clients; perform customer service training to CTI Staff throughout the Agency.  Integrate a DE&I lens in all activities, encourage colleagues to engage in DE&I work, and contribute to our mission of building a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive organization for our employees, clients, and partners; requires ongoing investment in a personal and professional journey to understand identity and address unconscious bias, power, and privilege.

 

Qualifications include:

 

  • Associate’s Degree in related field such as Human Services preferred.
  • 3- 5 years of experience working with low-income diverse population with client service experience required.
  • Familiarity with a strengths-based approach to case management.
  • Knowledge and experience working with low income, culturally diverse, and at-risk families and individuals.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of community resources available to low-income individuals and families.
  • Excellent customer service, organizational, oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills required in basic computer software and data collection systems.
  • Excellent crisis management skills.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and confidentiality of information.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish, English/Khmer, English/Portuguese) preferred.
  • Ability to work effectively with and meet the needs of people from a diverse range of backgrounds, cultures, and identities, including underserved communities and people from the different racial groups, socioeconomic statuses, nationalities, and languages that make up CTI’s clientele.
